Our journey began 50+ years ago ( 16 Sept 1972) at Restoran Mei Sun, located in Jalan Khoo Teik Ee, Off Jalan Imbi, Kuala Lumpur. Here, our founder's father, a talented chef, introduced the beloved chicken rice dish, which become immensely popular with local customers.

With fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and a dedication to authentic preparation, our founder crafted a simple yet exquisite recipe: perfectly poached chicken paired with fragrant rice, all infused with rich chicken broth. This dish quickly became a favorite among locals, cherished for its heartwarming flavors and comfort.

As the years went by, our commitment to quality and tradition remained unwavering. Over time, the second generation of Golden Chicken Rice moved into the heart of Taman Connaught, and together with Chef Ding® continue to honor our roots while creating a welcoming space for families to gather and share joyful moments.

Today, each plate of our chicken rice reflects our passion for cooking and the love we have for our community. Served alongside our signature chili sauce and homemade ginger paste, our dish is a celebration of taste and togetherness, creating memories that last a lifetime.
